Tennessee Congressman Mark Green said he won’t run again, feeling fed up with Washington and the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Mayorkas. He’s been in office since 2019 and led efforts to impeach Mayorkas over border issues. Green has had many controversies throughout his term, such as trying to run for governor or even making controversial remarks about Muslims and vaccines. Now, his decision opens up his seat for new candidates from both parties in the next election. This can affect us because if someone is racist, or a hater of our Hispanic community it can cause great change for the worse
