After the glamorous and dazzling premieres for the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s hit-novel It Ends With Us, movie star Blake Lively faced harsh criticism for her negligence and banter on the issue of domestic violence during her interviews. The general public was outraged, considering the movie was based on a novel about ending the cycle of domestic violence. 

According to the Center for Women’s Health, “1 in 4 women, 1 in 7 men and up to half of transgender and non-binary individuals will experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime.” Domestic violence is unequivocally a common predicament experienced by many people in the world.
