On August 29th, 2024, the Torres Toros’ first game of the season started off greatly with Junior Alexis Castillo scoring two touchdowns! This was Torres’ first time scoring a touchdown in 2 years. The Toro boys came out ready to face Belmont highschool at home! The Toros started off a little rocky with multiple flags being called for false starts. However, it all came together during halftime, with the boys managing to score a touchdown. The football was thrown by senior Jonathan Orozco and caught by Alexis Castillo. The Torres Football team will be facing their next opponent Jefferson highschool at a home game on September 5th, 2024, at 7pm.
