Women are more likely to get Lupus and other autoimmune disease than men. More than 20- 50 million Americans have an autoimmune disorder or lupus. scientists have detected that the X chromosome might be a culprit. Since women have two X chromosomes while males have one X and one Y. Researchers have experimented on mice with similar lupus conditions that are triggered by a chemical irritant. This can affect our female community because this can damage our immune system and has no cure. The females can experience fatigue, fever, and weight changes at some point in their illness. This can affect their work, school, and health.
