On Saturday, North Korea was celebrating the founding of their nation. The celebration was filled with a banquet, concerts, and a performance of the Russian army song and dance. Later after the celebration, Kim was expected to travel to Russia’s far-eastern city of Vladivostok to meet President Vladimir Putin to discuss weapons supplies and other military cooperation. This is important because the more powerful and stronger Russia gets, the higher the chance that there will be problems that lead to wars.
