Protests on the Abortion Ban

The Wisconsin Republican passed a bill that will also be a statewide referendum to ban abortion after 14 weeks of pregnancy. They refuse to have the 20-week mark of pregnancy and shorten it by 6 weeks. The Wisconsin Republicans have stated they have set the 14-week pregnancy to save more fetuses from death. The bill will take effect on April of 2024 on election day and ask voters if they should take it far and pass it for sure. But on the other hand, this will not take effect in the rape cases. If any of the votes agree to that it further it will take effect the next day. This can affect my community because women have the right to decide to do whatever they want. it takes away their right to their own body and it will affect many women mentally due to keeping the baby by force.
